Housing our Ageing Population Panel for Innovation (HAPPI)

The HAPPI report was led by PTE’s Patrick Devlin and LBA’s Julia Parkes with David Birkbeck contributing the choice of schemes to visit and research, the 10 key recommendations and the title HAPPI.

Launched on 3rd of December 2009 by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), in partnership with Communities and Local Government (CLG) and the Department of Health, the Housing our Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation (HAPPI) report calls for positive action in response to the UK’s ageing population with a set of ideas to encourage people to downsize to homes more likely to support the last decades of their lives.
